 WILL I NEED MORE THAN ONE WHITENING SESSION?

  With our whitening technology most of our clients need only one session, and see their teeth appearing 2-8 shades whiter. Our clients like to maintain their BEAUTIFUL DAYTONA WHITE SMILE two to three times a year, usually after their cleanings and check-ups from their dentist!!!

 IS THE WHITENING GEL AND LIGHT SYSTEM YOU USE THE SAME AS THOSE USED BY MY DENTIST?

 HOW LONG WILL THE RESULTS LAST?

 Individual results will vary depending on the client’s habits and their unique dental make-up ( enamel on teeth vary in color , no one is the same), but it is safe to say that the initial results will last the average client UP TO 6 MONTHS! However over time, and for the very same reasons that caused the teeth to discolor in the first place, the client will notice their teeth starting to look dull or yellow again. This is when a client knows its time for a touch-up at Daytona White Smile! Remember after your first 69 dollar whitening treatment, Daytona White Smile gives their clients a card for 55 dollar re-treatments (includes Remineralizer)!

 Consumers who smoke cigarettes or drink heavy quantities of dark, acidic liquids like:  coffee, tea, red wines, colas, etc. will have to touch up their teeth more often than people who do not.

 ARE THERE ANY ADVERSE SIDE EFFECTS?

              There are relatively few side effects from tooth whitening.  A very small percentage of clients may experience some sensitivity during a whitening procedure. However our Remineralizer will feel soothing on your gums and seal the Tubules (pores)of the teeth and rebuild the enamel to ease any sensitivity of the teeth.

 WILL FILLINGS AND CROWN BE AFFECTED BY THE WHITENING?

 While hydrogen peroxide will have no negative effect on the integrity of fillings or crowns, the simple fact is that these materials will not whiten in any type of bleaching procedure.  However, the procedure will remove stains and clean composite dental work.

 IS WHITENING FOR EVERYONE?

 Pregnant and nursing mothers, children under the age of 14, and diabetics should consult their physician prior to undergoing any whitening procedure.  Clients with severely tetracycline (antibiotic) stained teeth may opt for a more aggressive cosmetic procedure like bonding and veneers.
